This happened to mine last summer, after it sat for about 2 1/2 weeks. The mechanic said I need to drain the carb to prevent the "gumming up". Well, I let it sit again this winter, for about 4-5 weeks. Got it out yesterday, went to the post office, about a mile away (Almost froze my cheeks off, all four!) but didn't have any problems. Waiting. To see if something bad happens since I didn't follow my instructions. They had to take the whole carb out and rebuild it last summer.
